Calculation of the x-ray diffuse component between 30-150 KeV in 4g. cm-2 for a semi-unidiretional detector using Monte Carlo method

Description
The results on the propagation of the x-ray diffuse component in the atmosphere, using the Monte Carlo Method, are presented. A comparison of this method with the one that assume only the direct component is performed, showing that the scattered component must be considered in the total flux. (Author)

Apresenta-se os resultados sobre a propagacao da componente difusa de raio-x na atmosfera, usando o methodo de Carlo. Uma comparacao deste metodo com um outro que assume somente a componente direta e feita, mostrando que a componente espalhada deve ser considerada no fluxo total. (M.C.K.)Additional details
