Reactor control device

Description

Purpose: To enhance the safety and the reliability of a reactor control device by confirming the operation of a pressure release valve upon inputting of an output signal from a controller and an output signal from a switching detector and early detecting the malfunction of the pressure release valve. Constitution: There are provided a pressure release valve for regulating the vapor pressure in the reactor, a switching detector provided in the release valve, and a release valve monitor and control unit having a controller for controlling the release valve. In the monitor and control unit there is provided status determining means for confirming the operation of the release valve upon inputting of an output signal from the controller and an output signal from the switching detector. Accordingly, by providing the status determining means the confirmation of the operation of the release valve can be early conducted, and the malfunction can be early detected, thereby enhancing the safety and the reliability of the reactor control device.
