Relevant parameters of enriched water irradiation in cyclotron aiming the optimization and operational safety in the obtention of 18F ion

Description
With intention to magnify the reliability and the operational security during the enriched water irradiations for the attainment of the ion 18F- in the IPEN-CNEN/SP, had been installed three systems of monitoring and control of sensible parameters to the profile and the current of the beam: diaphragm formed by four sectors with accurately equal areas and without free path to the beam between the sectors, sensor of internal pressure of the irradiation chamber and thermocouple to measure the temperature of the gas of refrigeration of the windows. The control system is composite for a conditioner of signs, a board of acquisition of data and a software. The part of visualization and control was created in Visual Basic 6.0. One evidenced that, the internal pressure is the best pointer for the thread of the beam being that, small shunting lines of the ideal condition, provoke increase of the pressure. (author)
