Λ2 of effective q.c.d. in the minimal subtraction scheme
Description
Practical Q.C.D. is an effective field theory in that unexcited heavy quarks are decoupled from the theory. To predict effects dependent on the heavy quarks one needs the R.G. invariants of the effective Q.C.D. in which they are retained. The R.G. invariants Λsub(n)2 of the effective n flavour Q.C.D. are calculated from the observed Λ42
