Research on development status and standards of nuclear telemanipulators

  • 1. Institute for Standardization of Nuclear Industry, Beijing (China)

Description

Technology of nuclear telemanipulators is continuing to evolve to support man's efforts to perform tasks in hostile environments such as nuclear fission and fusion, nuclear emergency, spent fuel management and nuclear decommissioning. This paper introduces domestic and foreign development status and applications of nuclear telemanipulators as well as current status of standards for nuclear telemanipulators at home and abroad. In this paper, we analyze China's demand for nuclear telemanipulators standards and table proposals on setting relevant standards for nuclear telemanipulators. (authors)
