Description

Herein disclosed is a toroidal coil used in nuclear fusion devices. The toroidal coil comprises a cylindrical main coil which is located at the center of a toroidal tube and a plurality of U-shaped coils which are disposed to encase the torus tube. The main coil and Ti-shaped coils are formed of rectangular conductors and insulating plates alternately disposed. The toroidal coil may be readily assembled and sufficiently cooled during operation.
