The Measurement Of Radon Gas Concentration In UNAND Complex Padang By Using CR-39 Detector

Description

This research is purposed to measure Radon gas Concentration in Unand complex. It distance about two kilometers from Cement Padang Factory. The measurement were carried out by using CR-39 detector. The measurement of Radon gas concentration was done indoors and outdoors. The result of measurement shows that concentration of Radon gas indoors is more high than outdoors. The Radon gas concentration indoors is 0.54 p Ci/l until 6.77 p Ci/l and outdoors is 0.43 p Ci/l until 2.96 p Ci/l. The Radon gas concentration in Unand Griya Andalas is 2.96 p Ci/l until 6.77 p Ci/l. (author)
