Dose characteristics of neutrons fields of spent ceramic nuclear fuel of various types

Description
The dose characteristics of neutron fields of spent ceramic uranium compounds were analyzed. A procedure for calculating the neutron component of the radiation characteristics of spent ceramic nuclear fuel was proposed. The causes of significant differences of (α, n)-reactions contributions in neutron radiation intensity of spent UO2, UC and UN were determined. The simulation results of the radiation field characteristics near completed transport container were compared with the results of radiometric experiments

Проведен сравнительный анализ дозовых характеристик полей нейтронов облученных керамических урановых соединений. Предложена процедура расчета нейтронной составляющей радиационных характеристик облученного керамического ядерного топлива. Установлены причины существенных отличий вкладов (α, n)-реакций в интенсивность нейтронного излучения облученных UO2, UC и UN. Проведено сравнение результатов моделирования параметров поля излучения вблизи укомплектованного транспортного контейнера с результатами радиометрических экспериментовAdditional details
