Associative algebra of generalized functions closed with respect to differentiation and integration

Description

An associative algebra of generalised functions is constructed. The set of functions includes the delta-function and the functionals of the new type which are nonzero only on the delta-function or its derivatives. The algebra is equipped with the operations of involution, differentiation and integration. The algebra can be useful in constructing new strongly singular quantum potentials. It can also be used in some suitable formalism of local quantum field theory
