Description

The EPR is a 1,600-MWe pressurised water reactor (PWR) type nuclear power plant (NPP) made by France and Germany. This paper describes the auxiliary systems in EPR. The systems include, among others, the chemical and volume control, safety injection or residual heat removal, in-containment refueling water storage tank, emergency feed water, component cooling water, essential service water, power supply, and fuel handling and storage.
