On the method for frequency mutation calculation

Description
Experimental results are presented of a comparative evaluation of three different methods for recording mutations. The tests were performed with DJAU-KABUTAK, a variety of spring barley. The mutagens were an 0.05% ethylene imine (EI) solution and 60Co (25 kR). The mutation frequency was established in percentage by determining the number of mutant families in the total number of families in the second generation (1) and the number of mutant individuals in the total number of second-generation plants (sowing was performed using all the seeds of all first-generation plants (2-)) and by determining the mutant individuals in the total number of second-generation plants
