Documentation of measuring values of pipeline wall thicknesses

Description
Pipelines for water or saturated steam in power plants and the like that are threatened by extensive material thinning, due, for instance, to erosion corrosion, normally are subjected to destruction-free measurements of their remaining wall thicknesses. ''DASY'', the PC-assisted program developed by Siemens/KWU, permits efficient storage, administration, evaluation and documentation of the vast amounts of data acquired, rendering the keeping of record achieves superfluous. Abstract (German)
Wasser- oder nassdampffuehrende Rohrleitungen in Kraftwerken und anderen Anlagen, die durch flaechige Materialabtraege - z.B. infolge Erosionskorrosion - gefaehrdet sind, werden in der Regel hinsichtlich ihrer noch vorhandenen Wanddicken durch zerstoerungsfreie Messungen ueberprueft. Das von Siemens/KWU entwickelte PC-gestuetzte Programm DASY erlaubt in effizienter Weise die Speicherung, Verwaltung, Auswertung und Dokumentation der dabei anfallenden grossen Datenmengen. Eine umfangreiche Archivierung von Protokollen kann damit entfallen. (orig.)Additional details
