Proceedings of the Regional Colloquium on Soil Organic Matter Studies
Description
Isotope techniques are applied to soil organic matter studies, with special emphasis to decomposition studies. The effect of N fertilizers on the development of wheat and soybean crops is studied, as well as N-fixation. 14C and 15N are used as tracers; 13C/12C ratios are determined in humic horizons of soils. The influence of carbon sources addition on the degradation of the pesticide carbaril in soils is evaluated. (M.A.)

Aplicam-se tecnicas isotopicas a estudos da materia organica do solo, com enfase especial a estudos de decomposicao. Estuda-se o efeito de fertilizantes nitrogenados e a fixacao de N em plantios de trigo e soja. Utilizam-se como tracadores 15N/14C; fazem-se determinacoes de razoes isotopicas 13C/12C em solos. Avalia-se a influencia da adicao de fontes de C sobre a degradacao do pesticida carbaril em solos. (M.A.)Files
