At the end of 2001, the Andra published a report, ''Document HAVL clays'', on the knowledge, the methods evaluation and a first analysis of safety concerning the proposed storages concepts. The synthesis presented now in this document is an adaptation, for the public, of studies realized by the Andra on deep argillaceous soils. (A.L.B.)
