Sonographic evaluation of cartilage over femur condyles is equivalent to arthrography by CT. Circumscript lesions especially in the middle part of femur condyles can be seen easily by ultrasonography. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Die Wertigkeit der Sonographie in bezug auf die Bestimmung der Gelenkknorpeldicke ueber den Femurkondylen ist derjenigen der Pneumarthro-CT gleichzusetzen.Umschriebene Defekte, vor allem ueber dem mittleren Drittel der Kondylen, koennen sonographisch sicher erkannt werden. (orig.)
