N-shaped VACh and current oscillations in manganite Sm1-xSrxMnO3

Description
The volt-ampere characteristics (VACh) in the pulse and constant electric (E) and magnetic (H) fields up to 10 kOe by their mutual orientations H parallel E and H perpendicular E are experimentally studied in the Sm1-xSrxMnO3 with the compositions x = 0.425 and x = 0.450 with temperature 77 K. The N-shaped VACh and high-frequency (up to 3 MHz) current oscillations are identified. It is established that the effect of the enormous magnetoresistance in the studied systems is of the threshold character and it smoothly disappears at E → 0
Abstract (Russian)
В образцах Sm1-xSrxMnO3 с составами х = 0.425 и х = 0.450 экспериментально исследованы при температуре 77 К вольт-амперные характеристики (ВАХ) в импульсных и постоянных электрических (Е) и магнитных (Н) полях до 10 кЭ при их взаимных ориентациях Н параллельно Е и Н перпендикулярно Е. Обнаружены N-образные ВАХ и высокочастотные (до 3 МГц) колебания тока. Установлено, что эффект колоссального магнитосопротивления в исследованных системах носит пороговый характер и при Е → 0 плавно исчезаетAdditional details
