Nature of the small-scale solar magnetic field
Description
It is proposed that the nonsunspot solar magnetic field has everywhere the same strength and that this field strength is approximately gauss in the region of formation of moderate-strength Fraunhofer lines. Several points are presented in support of these ideas. Subject heading: magnetic fields, solar
