Neutron flux measurement in the thermal column of PUSPATI TRIGA reactor
Description
The thermal and epithermal neutron fluxes along seven removable graphite stringers of the thermal column were measured using gold foil activation method. The thermal neutron flux along the graphite stringers were found to be symmetrical about the central stringer. Cadmium ratios of gold at several positions along the graphite stringers varied from 32 - 1500. The diffusion length and fermi age of neutron in graphite were found to be (49+-5) cm and (346+-33) cm2 respectively. (author)
