Description
It has always been exciting to build up a microscopic optical potential which can give a good account of proton elastic scattering data. To this end an approximation scheme for the evaluation of the microscopic folding potential, with a general non-local effective two nucleon interaction is developed. The resulting optical model potential is expressed as the algebraic function of nuclear densities
