Critical benchmark experiments in the Kurchatov institute
Description
The data concerning criticality of uranium systems with water and hydrogenous moderators, as well beryllium, beryllium oxide and graphite for wide ranges of enrichment by 235 U, ratio of nuclear concentrations of uranium and moderator, as well as temperature are reviewed. The data discussed are available in the Russian Federation National Research Center Kurchatovskij Institute. It is shown that the data (the most of them were not published earlier) include the information very useful in investigations connected with critical safety which will be realized in next ten years. Requirements to the benchmark type experiments are formulated, capabilities for conducting new experimental series are considered

Представлен обзор имеющихся в РНЦ Курчатовский институт данных о критичности урановых систем с водой и иными водородсодержащими замедлителями, а также бериллием, оксидом бериллия и графитом, в широких диапазонах обогащения 235 U, соотношения между ядерной концентрацией урана и замедлителя, а также температуры. Доказано, что эти данные (большинство ранее не публиковалось) содержат информацию, ценную для исследований, связанных с критической безопасностью, которые будут проводиться в ближайшее десятилетие.
