Description

Advanced microelectronics and computer technology allow to implement powerful and cost-effective systems. Comprehensive expert knowledge (knowledge base) is available and has been implemented in part in in-situ systems. Further developments to comprehensive on-line diagnosis systems will enhance effectivity further and will be available to the reactor operator as an early-warning system. Optimum and reliable provision of information to assess safety-related reactor systems in one of the basic requirements for the operator to be able to correctly assess the situation at any point of time and to settle for the correct actions to be taken in particular in deviations/incidents. Abstract (German)

Die moderne Mikroelektronik und Rechnertechnik haben die Realisierung leistungsfaehiger und kostenguenstiger Systeme moeglich gemacht. Umfassendes Expertenwissen (Wissensbasis) ist vorhanden, zum Teil bereits in den vor-Ort-Systemen implementiert. Weiterentwicklungen zu umfassenden Online-Diagnosesystemen werden die Effektivitaet noch erhoehen und dem Reaktorfahrer als Fruehwarnsystem zur Verfuegung stehen. Optimale und belastbare Informationsbereitstellung zur Bewertung sicherheitstechnisch relevanter Reaktorsysteme aber ist ein Grundpfeiler, um insbesondere auch in Stoersituationen jederzeit die Lage richtig einzuschaetzen und die richtigen Massnahmen treffen zu koennen.
