Thermal characteristics of irradiated polytetrafluoroethylene

Description
The influence of γ-irradiation from 60Co and electron beams on heat-conductivity, density and coefficient of linear thermal expansion of PTFE has been studied. The mechanism of the irradiaton-induced changes of properties of PTFE is proposed basing on analysis of behaviour of crystalline and amorphous phases
