Proton exchange membrane fuel cells
Description
The best known of fuel cells today is the Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cells. Hydrogen storage is a powerful enabling technology for PEM fuel cell usage and applications. PEM fuel cell can create both electricity and hydrogen. The hydrogen can be created during off peak hours when electricity is cheap and then used during peak demand times. Proton's reversible fuel cells are used in both fueling hydrogen powered vehicles as well as providing back up power in uninterruptible power supply systems. Proton Energy has achieved significant costs reductions in the design and manufacture of its fuel cells during the past year. In this article, PEM fuel cells generating of hydrogen ions will be investigated
