Description
Many times relocated and rebuilt, the GOLEM tokamak, (formerly CASTOR) is a small facility installed in Prague, Czech Republic, which became an educational device for domestic as well as for foreign students by both hands-on training and remote training. It operates routinely at modest range of parameters Bt < 0.5 T, Ip < 8 kA, discharge duration < 15 ms, and with a limited set of diagnostics. Wide range of tasks with varying levels of complexity covering tokamak physics, technology and operation can be studied by the future fusion specialists.
