Description
Based on the authors' earlier paper, the Sommerfeld parameters in the BBK wave function are further modified in asymmetric geometry. The influence of the Sommerfeld parameters on the triple differential cross sections is considered. The triple differential cross sections for electron impact ionization of atomic hydrogen at low incident energies in asymmetric geometry are calculated by use of the modified Sommerfeld parameters. The results were compared with those of the earlier paper and the theoretical results of the convergent close-coupling method. It was found that the present results give a better description for the experimental data
