Description
A report of a lecture is given which describes the development by Westinghouse Nuclear International of an integrated reactor protection and control system (IPCS). Topics covered include the IPCS architecture, protective action using dedicated microprocessors and multiplexed links for data communication. The adaption of the system to the requirements of the Sizewell B project is also described. (UK)
