A method of determining Cs137 in milk without dry ashing

The proposed method envisages combined sorptive extraction of an isotope on silica gel from fresh milk with its subsequent separation by the antimony iodide technique. The advantage of the method is that it eliminates the need for ashing the samples and the consequent probability of losses of 137Cs. (auth.)
