On the pseudocolloids formation on silicic acid

The spectrophotometric, potentiometric, conductance measuring, sorption, extraction, and electrodialysis methods with utilization of cerium-144 were used to study the behaviour of cerium(3) in aqueous solutions (10-3) at dosed quantities of silicic acid (10-7 - 10-7 M). Species close to sorptional colloids in their properties are shown to be formed at a silicate concentration in the solution approaching cerium concentration. The concentration of silicic acid leached by the acid solution from the glass vial walls for a long period of time was evaluated by extrapolation
