Gas-filled magnetic separator of nuclear reaction products on a heavy-in beam
Description
Gas-filled separator positioned at the U-400 cyclotron heavy ion beam is described. The separator design permits nuclear reaction products capture in the angle range of +-1.5 deg in axial direction and +-3 deg in vertical direction. The separator performance on the example of V+Ne->Po+xn and Dy+Ar->Po+xn is shown
