Extensive meningeal involvement as the primary manifestation of a systemic small lymphocytic lymphoma: favourable outcome after neuraxial irradiation without chemotherapy

This case report summarizes the treatment of a 71-year old female with a systemic small lymphocytic lymphoma with widespread meningeal involvement, in which irradiation alone was given, chemotherapy being withheld to minimize immunosuppression. (UK)
