Study of structure and hysteresis properties of permanent magnets of alloy Nd15Fe77B8

Description
Powders of alloy Nd15Fe77B8 have been studied for the effect of their granulometric composition on structural and magnetic properties of permanent magnets. It is shown that the basic phase of the powder Nd2Fe14B has a tetragonal crystal lattice with the parameters: a=0.878; c=1.219 nm; additional phases (Nd- and B-enriched ones) are arranged on grain boundaries. It is established that the powder dispersion degree is one of the main factors influencing the formation of hysteresis properties of the sintered permanent magnets
