The electronic structure and physical properties of Nb Si2

Description
The band structure, the l-projected densities of states, and the Fermi surface of niobium disilicide have been calculated using the Linear Muffin-Tin Orbital (LMTO) method. The angular dependence of the extremal Fermi surface cross-section areas, cyclotron masses, and soft x-ray emission spectra have been calculated. The agreement with the experimental data is rather good
