Global analysis of proton differential elastic cross section calculations with microscopic optical potential S-MOP
- 1. Institute of Atomic Energy, P. O. Box 275, Beijing
Description
Microscopic optical potentials S-MOP derived from the Skyrme forces are used to calculate the angular distributions in proton elastic scattering from even-even nuclei and a global analysis is made of the results. With only adjustments in the parameters allowed in the original Skyrme forces, good agreement is obtained with experimental data in the general trends, and the positions of maxima and minima for proton energies in the range 16 MeV to 61.4 MeV, with the best results obtained with GS2 set of parameters. This shows that S-MOP's have good predictive capability for optical model calculations of proton elastic scattering from even-even nuclei
