Basic concepts of radiation technologies
Description
The concepts are explained of radiation technology, ionizing radiation, source of ionizing radiation, dose, radioactivity, transmission, coefficient of energy utilization, etc. The advantages of initiation of chemical reactions by ionizing radiation are summed up. The procedure is designed of the development of an economical radiation technology and its individual stages are defined. (J.C.)
