On the quadratic grouping of electrons directed by transversely inhomogeneous magnetostatic fields

Description

The analysis is given of the relative efficiency of quadratic grouping mechanisms acting in electron beams directed by transversely inhomogeneous magnetostatic fields when interacting with high frequency fields under cyclotron resonance conditions. Relations have been obtained characterizing the efficiency of different mechanisms depending on the of the static fields and on the high frequency one
