The primary all-nucleon spectrum in the range 0.5/50 TeV from the observation of hadrons at EAS-TOP

Description
The all nucleon primary spectrum in the energy range 0.5/50 TeV is derived from the analysis of the hadron spectrum measured by the EAS-TOP hadron calorimeter (Campo Imperatore, LNGS, 2000 m a.s.l.). The used hadron interaction model (CORSIKA/QGSJET) was checked by comparison with independent experimental data and found to describe fairly well the ratio of the hadron fluxes as measured at the two different atmospheric depths of EAS-TOP (820 g/cm2) and KASCADE (1000 g/cm2) experiments in the whole considered energy range
