Storage pool for spent fuel elements
Description
The storage rack for fuel elements of LWR consists of a rack of profile parts and a bottom- and top-grid plate. The bottom grid plate stands with legs on the storage pool floor, whereas on the top grid plate support elements are fixed that are flexible towards the pool walls. The support elements hold the storage rack safely against earthquakes. The consist of a cylinder-piston arrangement that is connected by a bore with the coolant of the storage pool. (DG)

Das Lagergestell fuer die BE aus LWR besteht aus einem Geruest aus Profilteilen und einer oberen und unteren Gitterplatte. Die untere Gitterplatte steht mittels Fuessen auf dem Lagerbeckenboden, waehrend an der oberen Gitterplatte Abstuetzelemente gelenkig gegenueber der Beckenwand angeordnet sind. Die Abstuetzelemente haltern das Lagergestell erdbebensicher. Sie bestehen aus einer Zylinder-Kolben-Einrichtung, die ueber ein Loch mit der Kuehlfluessigkeit im Lagerbecken in Verbindung steht.
