Description
The scaling behaviour of the fictious time correlation length in stochastic quantization is investigated. Its implications in the numerical Langevin simulation are studied by the use of the two-dimensional O(3) non-linear σ-model. It is discussed in connection with the measurement of the mass gap. Possible relations between the scaling behavior and higher order algorithms or the critical slowing down are also suggested. (orig.)
