Human experience and epidemiology
Description
For the purpose of assessing the potential hazard to man from uranium some verification is needed of models which are based on animal studies. The limited extant information on man is discussed. Occupational epidemiology of uranium workers is an approach which has not been extensively utilized in the past. It is beginning to provide, and can be expected to provide in the future, a useful perspective and information adding to the understanding of the potential health hazards of uranium. 18 refs., 4 figs., 4 tabs
