Electrolytical enrichment for liquid scintillation determinations of low tritium samples. A revised methodology

Description
The current methodology in low level tritium measurement is discussed. The distillation step has been found as a source of large errors in the sample activity determination. With the aim to obtain more reliable results, an alternative methodology is proposed, which bypass the distillation process. A liquid scintillation cocktails mixture method able to receive alkaline samples is realised and largely tested. The method is also tested with a large number of artificial samples.
