Testing of the Nordion TITAN gamma ray projector
Description
Nordion International Inc. is the world's largest supplier of radio-isotopes and a major supplier of iridium-192 for the gamma radiography industry. In order to complement its sealed source production, Nordion set out to design a lightweight projector that was both rugged and easy to operate. This paper describes the testing performed in order to demonstrate that the Nordion TITAN met the design and licensing requirements
