Description
A new theoretical model of an undulator for free electron lasers is presented. The current undulator structure is a series of epicycloidal wires. The magnetic field components for each wire present a 120 degree symmetry. This new treatment of the problem could be extended to the nonlinear dynamical analysis for the electrons in the studied structure. (authors)
