Polarization of protons in the reactions γ3/sup ,/4He→p-arrow-rightX and the quasideuteron model

Description
We present the results of measurement of the polarization P of inclusive protons in interaction of photons with the nuclei 3He and 4He corresponding to the kinematics of photodisintegration of a two-nucleon pair in a nucleus with E/sub γ/ = 350 MeV and θ/sup *//sub p/ = 900. The results were compared with those for P in the γd→pn reaction obtained under similar conditions. It was shown that the quasideuteron mechanism of photon absorption is confirmed in measurements of proton polarization
