The regulation for delivery of subsidies for measures of promoting power source location for nuclear power generating facilities

This rule is established under the provisions of the enforcement ordinance for the law concerning the redevelopment of surrounding areas of power generating facilities and the law concerning the proper execution of budgets for subsidies and the enforcement ordinance for this law and to carry out these provisions. The rules are applied to atomic power generating facilities under the law concerning the redevelopment of surrounding areas and to the facilities under the enforcement ordinance for this law. Terms are used in this rule for the same meanings as in the law and the ordinance. The limit of the amount of subsidies granted is defined respectively for each construction work of a set and two and more sets of power generating facilities in the cities, towns and villages concerned. The limit of the amount of subsidies granted for the redevelopment works performed outside the areas of cities, etc. where facilities are set up are the same as that of subsidies granted for the works in those cities, etc. Subsidies are paid for the expenses of redevelopment works performed during the period that begins from the fiscal year to which belongs whichever later day of the day of beginning construction work of the facilities concerned and the day of the approval of redevelopment plan, and ends in the fiscal year after five years from the day of completing the construction work. Subsidies shall be delivered as equally as possible for each year. The application for subsidies and other related matters are defined. (Okada, K.)
