Calibration of LAS-3A beta radiometry system of plastic scintillation with 90Sr + 90Y

Description
In order to evaluate the global beta levels of radioactivity in environmental samples, a calibration method for a beta radiometry system of plastic scintillation was developed. The system presents a good instrumental response, with 25% of count efficiency for 90Sr + 90Y in equilibrium. (orig.)
