Description
The nuclear surface density anisotropy is studied in a basis spanned by projected aligned valence configurations. The essential quartet symmetry is preserved and several well known effects (such as deviation from the I(I+1) law, band crossing or Coriolis kinking in odd-even nuclei) can be interpreted as obvious perturbations to the underlying intrinsic state

Le calcul de l'anisotropie de la distribution des nucleons de valence fait appel a la diagonalisation de l'interaction dans le sous-espace engendre par les configurations intrinseques alignees. Cette approche qui respecte les symetries de quartet permet d'associer bon nombre de phenomenes connus (deviation par rapport a la loi rotationnelle, croisement de bande, effet de Coriolis pair-impair a des modifications evidentes de l'etat intrinseque sous-jacentAdditional details
