Update and improvement of the MAAP5 model for severe accident analysis in a PWR

Description
The aim of this thesis is to improve the simulation plant model of a Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) by increasing the resolution of the Containment Building nodalisation and updating the model to the latest version of MAAP 5.04. Before updating the model to the new version, it is noted that the simplified Containment Building model is no longer useful, reducing the potential of the code. Therefore, the number of nodes is increased following the developers' recommendations. Once the new nodalisation results are validated; the model is migrated to the new version of the code, modified to include the latest design modifications introduced in the plant and altogether is finally tested.
