Description
To making nuclear technology functioning in security check better and further, this paper introduced the method of active neutron detection on regular explosive detection. Focusing on active neutron detection ways such as fast neutron activation analysis (FNAA), thermal neutron activation analysis(TNAA), pulse fast-thermal neutron analysis(PFTNA), neutron elastic scattering analysis(NESA) and fast neutron radiography(FNR) and also, the advantages and disadvantages of those different ways are described, and further expectation and the outlook of the future and the development of active neutron detection method in the detection of regular explosive are explored.
