The different kinds of radiation (electrons, positrons, photons, neutrons) available at conventional electron linear accelerators and their performances are described. The capabilities of the new high duty-cycle facilities are shortly discussed. (orig.)

Der Bericht beschreibt die verschiedenen Strahlungsarten (Elektronen, Positronen, Photonen, Neutronen), die an konventionellen Elektronenlinearbeschleunigern erzeugt werden koennen, und ihre charakteristischen Eigenschaften. Die Leistungsfaehigkeit neuer Linearbeschleuniger mit grossem Tastverhaeltnis wird kurz umrissen. (orig.)
