Atraves de uma analise termica consideram-se diversos parametros do nucleo do reator a saber: diametro do canal de refrigeracao, diametro do canal de combustivel, distancia entre dois canais, potencia gerada por unidade de comprimento e numero de blocos empilhados. Adotando diversos criterios escolhem-se a melhor ou as melhores solucoes
